Scheduling a Performance

Let Indy Hula provide professional, authentic Polynesian entertainment for your
Aloha-themed Luau!  Whether you're planning a private party for a reunion, wedding,
graduation, birthday, backyard luau, or bar mitzvah, or a public or company event,
we'll make sure you and your guests have a great time!

All our shows are tailored to fit your event, your audience, and your venue, and our
prices are negotiable to fit your budget!  For more information, please email us at

* Please note: Indy Hula does not schedule performances on Sundays.
  • Small Show and/or Hula Lessons: $250-$500 for a 10-30 minute show or
    group hula lesson, including 1-2 dancers and an emcee, using pre-recorded music.

  • Standard Show: $500 - $1000 for a 30 to 45 minute show, including up to 3
    dancers plus an emcee, using pre-recorded music.

  • Deluxe Show: $1,000 - $1,500 for a 45 minute show or longer, including up to 5
    dancers plus an emcee, using pre-recorded music.  Shows longer than 45 minutes
    will be presented in two segments with a break for the dancers in the middle.

  • Really Big Show: We have experience in large-scale productions, and would be
    happy to choreograph a Polynesian Revue with 10, 15, or 20 or more dancers to
    fit your event and your budget.  Please call to inquire.

  • Cultural & Educational Lectures: $150-$200 for up to an hour-long
    instructional or educational presentation by a cultural expert.

Planning a customer-appreciation event?  Everyone loves a luau!  Let Indy Hula handle
your next event with our special Promotional Event Package:

For Indianapolis-area businesses with walk-in customers, during daytime
business hours only, we offer a special promotional package to host your customer-
appreciation luau-themed event.  For $200 per hour, we’ll provide a host or hostess in
business-casual “Aloha” attire, to greet and interact with your customers, adorn them
with leis that you provide, emcee games or events that you arrange, teach basic hula
steps to individuals or small groups of customers, and ensure that everyone has a
great time!  We’ll also provide Hawaiian music on CD’s to play on your CD player or
sound system during your event at no additional charge.  This package does not
include a formal show, but you may add on a small show (above) at a 50% discount!

    Additional Fees and Services
  • Master of Ceremonies: Have our professional emcee host your entire event to
    make sure everyone has a great time, for an additional $50 per hour.

  • Island Lei Greeting: Upon your request, our dancers may be available to greet
    your guests as they arrive for an additional fee of $50.  You provide the leis.

  • Fresh Flower Lei: We can custom-make fresh floral lei for your guests of
    honor.  Click here for more information and prices.

  • Equipment: Our standard prices include using the client’s own available sound
    system, stage, and lighting equipment.  If you need equipment, we can arrange
    equipment rental, delivery, set-up, and tear-down at an additional cost.  Prices will
    vary; please inquire for a quote.

  • Travel: Our standard prices are for venues within the Greater Indianapolis
    metropolitan area.  For venues outside of this area, we charge an additional fee to
    cover our travel expenses:

  • $50 per hour round trip travel time (there and back) for EACH performer
    for venues less than 125 miles from Indianapolis city center, or

  • Actual travel, lodging, and meal expenses for EACH performer for venues
    more than 125 miles from Indianapolis.

  • Deposit: Indy Hula requires a 50% deposit to secure a date, along with a signed
    contract.  Deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation.  Any remaining balance
    is due in full at the time of the performance.
