- September 13, 2008 - We are offering our first Polynesian Craft workshop at
the studio at 10 AM on Saturday, 9/13, to learn how to make your own Poi Balls! Poi are used in some New Zealand Maori dances, which we will begin teaching in our Women's Tahitian and Polynesian Dance class later this month. Poi balls are easy and inexpensive to make, and you'll need at least one pair. The workshop is only an hour long, and costs just $5 for enrolled students and $10 for guests. Bring your own yarn (3 colors) and white tissue paper. We'll provide the rest!
